Learn and understand the Lean philosophy and the techniques and how they apply to the laboratory situation. Although the Lean heritage stems from the automotive industry it applies to the laboratory setting equally well. Either being a QC-lab on a production site, a high throughput screening laboratory in the pharmaceutical industry or a high profile fundamental research lab, all can greatly benefit from the continuous improvement insights available.
